Selling a home with radon the report is a fact, not a stain

· 1 min· Gaz Radon

Nothing stops a sale when a home is above 200 Bq/m³. The buyer can ask for a test, a price reduction, or the work. The simplest file is a 91-day test, the system if it was needed, and a new test in the same room. That can be read. A verbal promise cannot.

This is not legal advice and not a model clause. The disclosure form changes by province and by year. Resale. Before you sign.

The 4-day test gives a first reading. The 91-day test covers the three-month minimum Health Canada asks for. Both are $59 before tax: shipping, return and the laboratory are included, taxes extra. The PDF report is sent within 2 business days after the laboratory receives the detector.

Above 200 Bq/m³, mitigation is confirmed with a quote. Gaz Radon is C-NRPP certified for measurement and mitigation.
