Heated floors and radon the water pipes are in the slab

· 1 min· Gaz Radon

Hydronic heat runs through the same slab the radon moves under. The warmth does not suction the gas and it is not a measurement. Test the way you would in any other house: occupied room, 91 days, heat on, including that floor if you normally use it.

If a system is required, the installer avoids the loops. Hand over the tube plan before anyone drills. Slab on grade. The system.

The 4-day test is a first reading. The 91-day test covers the three-month minimum Health Canada asks for. Both are $59 before tax. Shipping, the return and the lab are included. Tax is extra. The PDF report goes out within 2 business days after the lab receives the detector.

Above 200 Bq/m³, mitigation starts with a quote. Gaz Radon is C-NRPP certified and ships kits across Canada. See the Canada test page.
