Waiting for a radon system what actually lowers exposure
Between 200 and 600 Bq/m³, Health Canada talks about acting within two years. Above 600, within a year. During that wait, airing the room for an hour in the evening drops the number only while the window is open. As soon as it closes, the level comes back.
If a basement bedroom is very high, sleeping there less often cuts the hours spent in the most concentrated air. That is not a repair. A fan under the slab is. An air purifier is not. Windows. 200 to 600.
