A condo on the tenth floor is not exposed like a garden condo whose bedroom is at ground level. The gas enters through the foundation. Units and common rooms in contact with the soil are the first to measure: the hall, the exercise room, the superintendent’s office, the ground-floor unit.
Who decides the work
The slab, the foundation walls and often the pipe outlet are common elements. A correction then goes through the syndicate, with a laboratory report and a quote. The unit itself can be tested by the owner without waiting for a meeting. This is not advice on your declaration of co-ownership.
