Semi-detached homes and radon the neighbour’s result stops at the wall
The neighbour’s result is 80 Bq/m³. That does not cover your bedroom. The other half can have the sump, a slab cut for the bathroom, or a fireplace every evening. You can have the reverse. Each home is tested in its own occupied room.
One fan can sometimes pull on a continuous slab. Sometimes it cannot. You only know after a test on each side, then a quote. One system for two units. The neighbour tested.
The 4-day test gives a first reading. The 91-day test covers the three-month minimum Health Canada asks for. Both are $59 before tax: shipping, return and the laboratory are included, taxes extra. The PDF report is sent within 2 business days after the laboratory receives the detector.
Above 200 Bq/m³, mitigation is confirmed with a quote. Gaz Radon is C-NRPP certified for measurement and mitigation.
