Which apartment floor to test for radon
Soil gas loses concentration on each floor because it mixes with indoor air. A unit above the second storey, with no contact with the slab, is rarely the priority. A ground floor, a garden apartment and a basement suite are. The four-hour rule applies to the bedroom of that unit, not the lobby.
