A bungalow in Duvernay and a tower apartment are not the same exposure. Test the lowest occupied room of the home you are in. The French page is Laval.

What the percentage does not measure

The survey describes homes recruited in a health region, not one address. The slab, the sump and how long the windows stay shut change the number next door. The reading that matters is the lowest lived-in room during the heating season.

If the report is over 200

Health Canada’s measurement guide says act within two years between 200 and 600 Bq/m³, and within one year above 600. Above 200. Quebec Montreal

The 4-day test is a first reading. The 91-day test covers the three-month minimum Health Canada asks for. Both are $59 before tax. Shipping, the return and the lab are included. Tax is extra. The PDF report goes out within 2 business days after the lab receives the detector.

Above 200 Bq/m³, mitigation starts with a quote. Gaz Radon is C-NRPP certified and ships kits across Canada. See the Canada test page.
